Our Prices:  2007 Hunting

Whitetail and Mule deer:

Region A, area 2              (All hunts are just your group only!)

Rifle Hunts:

-is the month of Nov.1-30 and are four days, and include lodging.

$2250/hunter (group of 1)

$1250/hunter (group of 2),  $675/hunter (3to 6), and any accompanying nonhunter is $100.

Archery Season:

-is the month of September and our Hunts are Six days long and include lodging.

Group prices:($2250/1, $1250/2 hunters and $675/ 3 hunters or more)

Deposits are generally 1/4 the total amount of the hunt.

Expect to spend time in the woods when hunting deer.

Merriam's Wild Turkey:

Hunts are six days, with no lodging.

  $100 for a group of 2 hunters or less. Any additional hunters $40. Only hunting included not a place to stay.

Booking and refund policy:

The prices are firm as are the deposits.  As we have a limited number of time slots, we only reserve a hunt after we received a deposit, so first come first serve.   Should you be unsuccessful in the drawing we will promptly refund all but $200 of your deposit (unless the time slot was won at auction and then deposit is not 100% refunded).  Or if your license is drawn and you don't make the hunt, the deposit is not refunded.  The balance of your hunt is due upon arrival.

-The main service we provide is rifle deer hunting because of the many whitetail and mule deer on the ranch and it's overwhelming popularity among hunters.  But we also have archery available (which is the month of September).  As for turkey hunting, it depends on bird availability that year.  The coyotes can be hunted year round without a license. 

Why is our ranch so special?

* By limiting to a single group at a time our hunting success rate goes up and the hunter wants to return!

*The native grass, alfalfa fields, numerous springs, and reservoirs on the ranch gives the wildlife plenty of forage and fresh water.  Even in droughts our ranch still holds the deer because of these water sources.  (And as iodized salt is important to the health of deer they have plenty available as we feed our cattle extra.)

* Mature does returning every year to the numerous alfalfa fields we have to drop and raise their fawns.  These does bring the bucks around off the forest and the adjoining ranches during November.  It not an accident that more than one group have filled up with bucks because of our winning formula!

What is in the package for your group...

*Mobile home to stay in with beds, electric range, refrigerator, microwave, color TV, shower, VCR, etc. so you need to bring license, rifles, sleeping bags, food and clothes.  We do allow ATV's to pick up the deer on the numerous trails on the ranch and a closed shed to hang your deer!

*Easy access to on and off the ranch has WY state Hwy.#24 goes through the ranch.   No more worrying about muddy or snow filled county roads to travel on.
